L'association CoCreate Humanity est très heureuse de vous annoncer son partenariat officiel avec la superbe équipe du restaurant bistronomique Tout un monde... à Grandvaux, dans la belle région viticole de Lavaux, en Suisse, classée au Patrimoine de l'UNESCO.
Le restaurant Tout un monde... avait déjà généreusement soutenu CoCreate Humanity une première fois en juin 2021, lors d'un concert dans le village, en organisant un repas de soutien pour 30 personnes, et dont les bénéfices ont été reversés à l'association.
Qu'est-ce que l'Humani-Lunch ? Et pourquoi tous les 17 du mois ?
Cet Humani-Lunch aura lieu tous les 17 du mois, sauf les dimanches (jour de brunch), et les lundis et mardis (jours de fermeture du restaurant).
Cette date du 17 est liée à l'histoire de Christoph Hensch, l'un des cofondateurs de CoCreate Humanity qui a survécu à grave un incident de sécurité en Tchétchénie le 17 décembre 1996. Vous pouvez découvrir son récit dans la Revue Internationale de la Croix-Rouge.
Chaque mois, le restaurant Tout un monde... part "en tour du monde vers une nouvelle destination dépaysante par soif de découvertes". Le restaurant invite ainsi les convives à voyager tout en consommant des produits locaux des artisans de la région et du fait maison à 100%.
Ainsi, tous les 17 du mois, durant l'Humani-Lunch, vous découvrirez sur les tables du restaurant un récit, un poème, des photos ou une illustration de travailleurs humanitaires en lien avec le pays ou le continent du menu. C'est par ce biais que nous souhaitons sensibiliser le grand public à l'importance de la santé mentale et du bien-être psychosocial dans le secteur humanitaire, et à l'importance de la prise en charge et de l'accompagnement de celles et ceux qui ne ressortent pas indemne de leurs missions, qu'il s'agisse des employés locaux ou expatriés, à travers le monde.
Deux belles boîtes à dons CoCreate Humanity seront disponibles dans le restaurant, et après votre repas, vous pourrez y déposer un petit mot à notre attention et/ou une donation, afin de permettre à l'association de poursuivre ses actions de soutien auprès de la communauté humanitaire.
Parce qu'il n'est pas aisé d'aborder un sujet aussi délicat que celui de la santé mentale et du bien-être, nous avons souhaité faire notre travail de plaidoyer en réjouissant vos papilles à travers une cuisine solidaire et humanitaire !
CoCreate Humanity est encore une goutte d'eau dans cet océan humanitaire, mais, tels de petits colibris, nous faisons notre part du travail, parce que chaque action compte, même la plus infime... Le plus important est d'agir, maintenant et demain.

Pour sceller ce partenariat, CoCreate Humanity aura le plaisir d'accueillir Yves Daccord à 19 heures pour le discours d'ouverture aux côtés des trois cofondateurs de l'association : Hélène Ros, Christoph Hensch et Sébastien Couturier.

Le continent à l'honneur en mars sera l'Afrique ! Il y a 40 places disponibles, et le menu du midi sera exceptionnellement proposé en soirée le jeudi 17 mars afin de vous faire découvrir le concept de l'Humani-Lunch.
Yves Daccord est un leader humanitaire de renom, influent internationalement, faiseur d’opinion et de changement. Il se concentre actuellement sur le thème de la sécurité, du contrat social et du rôle des villes à l'ère de la surveillance numérique et des pandémies, qui fait l'objet d'une initiative spéciale qu’il dirige au Berkman Klein Center for Internet and society de Harvard.
De 2010 à mars 2020, Yves a été directeur général du Comité international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR).
Ancien journaliste, producteur de télévision et expert en relations internationales, sa carrière au CICR s'est étendue sur plus de deux décennies, dans des postes variés et des contextes difficiles, notamment en Israël et dans les territoires occupés, au Soudan, au Yémen, en Tchétchénie et en Géorgie. Yves est un des commissaires de l’initiative Principles4Peace qu’il co-préside. Il est également membre du conseil d'administration d’ODI, du conseil de fondation du Festival du film et forum international sur les droits humains de Genève, du conseil d'administration du journal suisse LeTemps et de celui de l'Initiative d'assurance qualité humanitaire. Yves est licencié en sciences politiques et titulaire d'un doctorat honoris causa en sciences sociales de l'Université de Saint-Gall, décerné en 2017.

CoCreate Humanity is very pleased to announce its official partnership with the superb team at Tout un monde..., a "bistronomic" restaurant in Grandvaux, in the beautiful wine region of Lavaux, Switzerland, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The restaurant Tout un monde... had already generously supported CoCreate Humanity for the first time in June 2021, during a concert in the village, by organising a support meal for 30 people, the profits of which were donated to the association.
What is the Humani-Lunch? And why every 17th of the month?
This Humani-Lunch will take place every 17th of the month, except on Sundays (brunch day), and Mondays and Tuesdays (when the restaurant is closed).
The date of the 17th is linked to the story of Christoph Hensch, one of the co-founders of CoCreate Humanity who survived a serious security incident in Chechnya on 17 December 1996. You can read his story in the International Review of the Red Cross.
Every month, Tout un monde... goes on a "world tour to a new and exciting destination". The restaurant invites its guests to travel while eating local products from regional producers and 100% home-made.
Thus, every 17th of the month, during the lunch "Our world tour...", you will discover on the tables of the restaurant a story, a poem, photos or an illustration of humanitarian workers related to the country of the menu. In this way, we want to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and psychosocial well-being in the humanitarian sector, and the importance to take care and support those who do not emerge from their missions unscathed, whether they are local or expatriate employees, all around the world.
Two CoCreate Humanity boxes will be available in the restaurant, and after your meal, you will be able to leave a note to our attention and/or a donation, to enable the association to continue its support to the humanitarian community.
Because it is not easy to tackle a subject as delicate as mental health and well-being, we wanted to do our advocacy work by delighting your taste buds through a humanitarian and solidarity cuisine!
CoCreate Humanity is still a drop in the humanitarian ocean, but, like little hummingbirds, we do our part, because every action counts, even the smallest one... The most important thing is to act, now and tomorrow.

The country of honour in March will be South Africa! There are 30 places available, and the lunch menu will exceptionally be offered in the evening on Thursday 17 March to introduce you to the Humani-Lunch concept.
Yves Daccord is a renowned and internationally influential humanitarian leader, opinion maker and change agent. He is currently focusing on the theme of security, the social contract and the role of cities in the age of digital surveillance and pandemics, which is the subject of a special initiative he is leading at Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet and society.
From 2010 to March 2020, Yves was director general of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
A former journalist, television producer and international relations expert, his career at the ICRC spanned more than two decades in a variety of positions and challenging contexts, including Israel and the occupied territories, Sudan, Yemen, Chechnya and Georgia. Yves is a commissioner of the Principles4Peace initiative which he co-chairs. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of ODI, the Foundation Board of the Geneva International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights, the Board of Directors of the Swiss newspaper LeTemps and the Board of the Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative. Yves holds a degree in political science and an honorary doctorate in social sciences from the University of St. Gallen, awarded in 2017.
